Course Expectations & Standards
Rubble Studios Courses must have a schedule (a point form itinerary of the course), and a description that clearly matches this course of events. The course can be taught as a jovial event where completion of a project is all that matters- meant to be for general public rather than professionals. It can also be meant to imbue knowledge and technical skills for those who want to further pursue the trade. The course can be interactive, where the students make their own workpiece, or it can be a demonstration with a lot of theory rather than practice. Whatever your teaching style, the objectives must be clear and the results must match them.
Course compensation
Because of the management and marketing required by Rubble Studios to fill the course, source materials and prep the students, Course compensation will be lower than if you rent the studio privately and host your own course. However, with renting privately, you are on your own for promotion, material costs, tool rental, etc.
Course fees are divided into sections. The first section, being the education fee is what you will receive half of. The material fees, the second portion, will go to Rubble Studios.
Marketing & Filling the Course
Rubble Rock and Gem will manage the accrual and preparation of all the students taking the course. Promotion of the course, directing them with prerequisites, sourcing materials, attaining deposits, etc. will be at the expense of Rubble Rock and Gem, and we ask for your help by promoting the course on your social medias. If the minimum number of students is not met (subject to course), the course will be postponed.
Finalizing the date(s) for your course
Upon review of your course application, and successful interview, a posting for your course will be generated on our website.
Upon your review of the posting, dates will be set.
